The Corendon Tennis Club in Kemer has officially opened its doors with the prestigious TEN-PRO Global Junior Tour Turkey event, held from April 14 to 21. Modeled after top tennis academies such as the Rafa Nadal Academy and Mouratoglou Academy, the event showcased global tennis stars and young talents.
During the ITB Tourism Fair, Corendon Group announced a partnership with the German Tennis Federation, which has culminated in hosting the TEN-PRO Global Junior Tour. This tournament draws young players aged 8-16 from various European countries, offering a platform to display their skills on an international stage.
The TEN-PRO Global Junior Tour is among the most significant junior tournament series in the world, running since 2015 in countries including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain, Belgium, Switzerland, Greece, Egypt, Dubai, and the USA. Corendon Tennis Club Kemer, accommodating 200 young players from 44 countries, provides a state-of-the-art facility that meets global standards, enriching the sports experience for its participants.
The opening of Corendon Tennis Club Kemer was attended by numerous dignitaries and media members. Prominent figures such as Kemer District Governor Ahmet Solmaz, Kemer Mayor Necati Topaloğlu, the Provincial Director of Youth and Sports Yavuz Gürhan, Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism Candemir Zoroğlu, TEN-PRO Tournament Director Goran Novakovic, and Chairman of the Board of Corendon Tourism Group, Yıldıray Karaer, delivered opening speeches. The event marked a significant boost to Antalya and Kemer’s value, bringing back major tennis tournaments to Turkey after a nine-year hiatus.
